Healing Salve For Pets
"A Pet's best Friend "

Promotes healing of cuts, scrapes, dry or cracked skin, bumps, bruises and insect bites. Contains appropriate amounts of these essential oils: ravensara, helichrysum, lavender, geranium, rosewood, thyme, chamomile, jojoba oil, beeswax, and Vitamin E. (There are minimal amounts of essential oils.) This salve works for your dog, cat, or horse. (Caution, do not let it get inside their ears, eyes, mouth or nose.) |
Jojoba Oil

Walking on dirt, paved streets, winter snow melt, and cement sidewalks can dry out your pet’s feet. Place a small amount of the oil on each foot pad, then gently massage it into the pad until it is fully absorbed. Wipe the excess oil from the fur around the pads. Do this daily until the animal’s feet return to normal. Jojoba oil is from the jojoba bean--a lwax-based oil similar to natural secretions produced by the skin. Jojoba oil has antioxidant properties. It keeps skin and hair moisturized and nourished for long periods of time. It is rich in vitamin E and collagen.
Caution: Because jojoba oil is odorless, cats and dogs usually do not lick it off, but do not leave excess jojoba oil on your pet’s fur, in case they DO lick it off; it could make them sick. Do not let excess amounts of the jojoba oil get into their ears, eyes, mouth or nose.
